Scheduling your first neuroimaging? It's normal to feel a little worried. An MRI uses a strong magnetic field and radio waves to create detailed images of the inside of your frame. You'll lie still on a padded bed while the machine takes pictures. The process usually takes about 30 to 90 minutes. You might hear some sounds from the machine, but it
